Less than a year ! It took less than a year for the WRC license to make its comeback after a pretty prominent exit last year. Always done by Kylotonn , this new iteration of rally enthusiasts is more ambitious and consistent with the aura of such a competition. However, returning as quickly after the defeat last October, this can be a real risk, especially at a time when publishers no longer hesitate to put into sleep series that run in circles ( Assassin's Creed , Need for Speed .. .). If WRC 7 has everything from the buyout solution, it seems obvious that the French creators have not said their last word. DiRT reign supreme over the discipline but the challenger takes the chest and could represent, in the future, more than an alternative.
It took eleven months to frenchie studio to deliver the episode of redemption. Even if some people think that the word is a bit strong, WRC 7 wants to be more successful than its predecessor. True, it is not a revolution, but all the failing sectors have been revised and corrected for a much more positive feeling. The Lyon branch of Kylotonn has thus recovered the work done on WRC 6 and worked to restore a license in search of balance. The result is unquestionable: more interesting, more beautiful and more stable, the new kid of the band has under the hood and is mature enough to accommodate the 380CV of the World Rally Championship.
